  The Top Pub, as it's known. $5 schooners on Thursdays are hard to pass up, and the $5 lunch? It must be stolen becoz I swear it costs more to make those lunches than they're charging! Just brilliant

  After 2 nights of boutique restaurants in Katoomba, we were looking for some simple pub food. The Menu at this bistro looked inviting for a Saturday night and we were pleasantly surprised with both the service and our meals. The Staff were friendly and helpful, the Bistro itself was quiet with a relaxing atmosphere. The Crumbed Cutlets and the Chicken Balmain were not just excellent but great value for money. 3 large cutlets with mash & veg and a large chicken breast with chips & salad for $48 was a real winner. Highly recommend this as a family bistro.

  Google has this place down as a bottle shop only but it is actually a pub, hotel and bistro as well. The bistro offers good pub food especially the Balmoral Chicken in a nice atmosphere. Well worth a visit for good, simple food at a good price.

  Nice friendly pub, older style. Great dining room. Wait staff are very good. Wide variety of activities. Usually opens 'til late...2am on the weekends. Parking out the back (but you should call a cab if you are drinking).
